England's heavyweight contender is expected to be elevated to heavyweight title holder after the Ukrainian champion decided to relinquish his world title

This follows after Usyk informed the World Boxing Organisation he would not proceed with a mandatory title defence against the British challenger

But the 30-year-old British fighter, took the interim title from Parker with a significant shock in the championship rounds at London's O2 Arena last month and was mandated to face Usyk before the September deadline
