The comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread enthusiasm across the community. Starting with the gradual unveiling of fresh additions before the game's launch, to players forming strong views on the full lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for fans to look forward to.

With many of the Super Forms showcasing unique designs that emphasize their traits, one idea came to mind: What's the best way to connect this with zodiac signs? The following is based on a mix of intuition, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

Honestly, Houndour's evolution was almost chosen for this fire sign, as they are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that evoke the most fear. But, a Super Houndoom appears as always furious, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, known for being playful, light-hearted, and spontaneous. That's why the Ram far more akin to Mega Camerupt, which solely spews lava when provoked. Stay on the good side of both and benefit from a powerful ally; should you offend them, prepare to get burned.

Taurus – Mega Heracross

Much like a loyal Bull, the steadfast Heracross species, both in its regular and Mega form, has assisted numerous players in Legends: Z-A. While trustworthy, both the Pokémon and a Taurus are also battle-oriented, and – be it their companion or a firm belief – will defend their position to the end. What about Mega Heracross that recalls most of my Taurus friends, however, is its unabashed love of snacks. Several past Pokédex entries mention their craving for tasty tree sap and how it employs its appendage to collect it all, which is pure Bull-sign vibe.

Gemini – Mega Medicham

Observe this total royalty. You cannot convince me this creature is not the soul of every party, providing an endless fountain of chatter to those who wish to listen. Just like an captivating, gregarious Gemini, it's very easy to envision Super Medicham mesmerizing an entire Wild Zone with their tales. Medicham’s Pokédex entry also states its ability to foresee an opponent's future actions, which sounds very similar to a socially-savvy Gemini.

The Crab – Mega Manectric

The zodiac symbol famous for being endearingly critical is clearly reflected across this creature's entire evolutionary chain, from a perpetually surprised face like a Virgo when you inform them you lack a 401(k), to its upside-down visage that’s similar to the emoji a Maiden posts to the group chat when all says they want to “go with the flow” instead of making a strategy.

Libra – Super Audino

Look at this sweet, sensitive creature, who employs the sensors on its auditory organs to detect how others are feeling by their pulse. Consistently compassionate – sometimes to a fault – and trying to keep the harmony, there are numerous Scales who would likely appreciate Super Audino's abilities. However, to be frank, it would likely just cause them to stress more about others.

The Scorpion – Super Banette

Banette is a Pokémon with a surprisingly tragic backstory: Discarded as a toy, it gained consciousness through sheer hatred and swore retribution on its former owner. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “enhances its spitefulness.” That sounds exactly like many conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpion loves karma and retribution, making them the ideal pair with Super Banette.

The Archer – Super Hawlucha

Each Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are constantly staging a show. Being a Sagittarius personally, the amount of occasions I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “silly little jester” is countless. The showiest and most attention-seeking Super Form, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “flexes to show off its strength.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Super Form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius counterpart I can think of.

The Goat – Mega Absol
